WCAARC Preamble
Calling all Amateur radio operators, this is _________ (your callsign), my name is ___________ (your first name) and I will be your net control operator this evening for the West Central Alabama Amateur Radio Club. (DROP) The WCAARC's mission is to provide emergency communications in co-operation with the American Red Cross, the National Weather Service and the Emergency Management Agency in the event that normal modes of communication fail due to inclimate weather or other disasters. The WCAARC has adopted procedures established by the American Radio Relay League, and will adhere to it's protocol in such an event.
This net will conduct this excercise every Thursday evening at 8:00pm on 147.390 and 442.300 mhz. All licensed Amateurs are invited and encouraged to participate.
